Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a PEC accredited university. Candidate should possess good technical, written and verbal communication skills with ability to work with cross-functional and culturally diverse teams. Candidate should have sound HSEQ awareness and commitment, high level of interpersonal skills, ability to deal with a dynamic and demanding environment, large number of activities within short time spans and command on MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
At least 20 years of relevant and extensive hands-on experience in construction engineering, preferably in Oil & Gas sector (offshore/onshore). Experience of working with international Oil & Gas contractors and suppliers.
The candidate will be responsible for supervision of construction activities including planning, execution, formation of construction teams, dealing with construction contractors, scheduling of work, reporting and implementation of HSEQ policies, ensuring that construction hazards and risks are fully considered by the contractors. The candidate will ensure that construction work is executed in accordance with company policies, project procedures and the project is completed as per hand-over schedule.
